Our Little Market Garden has been growing to provide you with Fresh, home grown vegetables that are chemical free with sustainability and local to Caithness.
We offer a seasonal range of veg along with a small flower farm and lots of lovely produce. You cannot get fresher than harvested on the day of selling and I Can promise you the taste of super fresh vegetables is incredible.
We sell via our honesty shop open Winter as food is available, Friday to Sundays 10-6pm in Brough and from June daily 9-6pm and From the end of June we offer veg boxes for collection or delivery every two weeks. To find us KW148YE Turn left after the Northern sands hotel signposted Dunnet head, Follow the road right over the little bridge and then all the way down past the bird hives and you will come to a junction left for Dunnet head. Do not turn left here but in front of you about 100 yards is our big polytunnel and turn right just after it. We are the white bungalow on the right and the box is in front of the garage door.

For the last 10 years we have grown our own Vegetable supply here in our plot and could never bare to have to buy as it never tasted the same. This expanded in 2020 into our new business. It is scary to diversify into something new however the passion is to feed you all with food grown right on your doorstep knowing exactly where it has come from and what is on it and so has grown Midgey Bites and here goes our first year of building the dream!

We are Tracey, Rachel, Jay and Mark here at Midgey Bites we are a small family run business. Everyone says we are bonkers to do this in Caithness however I am a firm believer that experience and passion are more important than your climate and you work around what you are given and we hope you share in our journey to grow over the years.
